China will move forward with a new strategy

China has set a goal of sustainable economic development for the next five years, by 2025. At this point, the country wants to focus on higher-quality growth. The country's state-run Xinhua news agency reported.

The information was given on Thursday, citing sources in the Central Committee of the ruling Communist Party of the country. A report by the news agency Reuters has given this information.

Chinese President Xi Jinping and members of the Central Committee have been holding closed-door meetings since last Monday.

The country's 14th Five-Year Plan was drawn up at the meeting of leaders involved in the ruling party's decision-making process. The plan is seen as a blueprint for the country's economic and social development.

The Xinhua report says the environment outside China is becoming increasingly complex.

Instability and uncertainty have increased significantly. However, despite the new challenges, the country's development is being seen as an important strategic opportunity.

In terms of the overall situation, China wants to increase its gross domestic product (GDP) to the level of a middle developed country by 2035. China wants to strengthen its market power by carrying out further reforms in various fields. In this case, the country will adopt the 'dual circulation' model.

Through this, the country will be self-sufficient in technology and it will be used as a stepping stone for development. It will also change the supply sector by increasing local demand and supply efforts.

Last May, the Chinese president proposed a dual circulation model. The next step in China's development is largely dependent on local repetition.

It will introduce a process within the country to address production, supply, and consumer issues through local technology innovation.
